September 03 Labor Day!!happy Labor Day everyone!! I am sitting here at work, bored out of my mind. Typing in between calls and wondering why I am here... I know that I need the money, but "why" did I sign up to work for the holiday? I have been taking calls from reservations, customer care and diamond desk. in other words, noone is busy. They are throwing us where ever they want us. I guess reservations was a little busy earlier, but they have died out, too. So, here I sit, bored out of my mind. Lunch brought me back to my kiddie days. Yeah, my lunch was a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. You remember those days, right? Where you had no care in the world. You didn't have to worry about work, or making rent payments, car notes, insurance, bills, etc. The days where you only had to worry about whether it would rain-because if it rained you couldn't go outside to play. Now, kids rarely spend time outside. They dont know how to get their feet dirty-or even hands dirty. They don't like to break a sweat and run bare-foot in the grass. They would rather sit inside and play video games or watch tv. :-( It's a sad world that we are not living in. :-(
Well.... I guess I will go and try and figure out something else to do....
